That Man

The testimony on January 6 coup attempt was riveting and revealing. And to think that THAT MAN had the nuclear code in his hands!

Some damage

Trump is emerging out of these hearings politically damaged. To what extent is still undetermined. And while the Republican primary results were mixed, it is fair to say that his dominance of the Republican Party has waned some.

Didn’t disappoint

Dead and Company didn’t disappoint. Such a great concert. They blend different musical forms into compositions that are sublime and reach, on occasion, a sudden crescendo that lifts everyone to their feet. And they played for 4 hours. I drove home in a thunderstorm – 3 hrs – arriving at 3:30am and still charged by the performance. Happy 4th if you read this far!

March and bring a crowd

In the wake of today’s announcement of the Supreme Court to repeal Roe v Wade, one obvious imperative – overarching I would say – is to march to the voting booth in November and bring a crowd with us.

Reality resistant

I wonder what the Hillary haters on the progressive-left end of the political spectrum are thinking today? Any regrets? I doubt it. That would be too much to ask. They were convinced of their wisdom in 2016 and likely think the same today, notwithstanding this week’s decision of the Supreme Court and its makeup. As we know, sectarian and dogmatic thinking is a stubborn thing! It’s reality resistant.
